We’ve grown beyond our beloved Bar & Grill in Rochester, NY, and are thrilled to welcome you to our latest adventure – The Speakeasy on McKenzie!
We’ve Expanded!
What started in Rochester has grown into something much bigger, and we’re excited to continue that journey here on the Gulf Coast. From our Rochester roots to our OWA location and now into the heart of downtown Foley, we’re proud of how far Waffles Are Wild has come.
For nearly a decade, it has always been about more than just great food. It’s about great people, great memories, and creating a place where everyone feels welcome. We’re excited to continue that tradition with the newest addition to the Waffles Are Wild family—our new location at 217 North McKenzie Street in downtown Foley.
Located in one of Foley’s historic buildings, our newest location brings a whole new atmosphere while keeping the same spirit of great food, good times, and hospitality that has made Waffles Are Wild what it is today.
Our new location combines a country-style diner up front with our very own Speakeasy in the back, complete with a full bar, party room, live entertainment, special events, and a prohibition-inspired atmosphere.
So come on in, slide open that old barn door, and see what we’ve created here on McKenzie Street.

About Us.
Waffles R Wild was created by Owner, Danielle, and her parents, Michael and Roxanne. What started as a dream and an idea became a reality in January 2018. Piece by piece the truck was built from the ground up. Michael’s construction knowledge and Danielle’s Background in culinary and restaurant management made it possible for the truck to be running in less than six months. Now their dream has come true and they are proudly serving their creations to the world.
